Zug Gospel Workshop 2023 -
Terms and Conditions

  1. The purpose of this document is to outline the terms and conditions of participation in the Zug Gospel Workshop 2023 and its final concert. The Workshop will be held on Nov 11-12, 2023 at Burgbachsaal, Dorfstrasse 12, 6300 Zug. The final concert will be held on Nov 12, 2023 at 19:00 at the Burgbachsaal in Zug.

  2. The Workshop and Concert Organizer is Gospel Verein Zug with seat at Fadenstrasse 9, 6300 Zug, Switzerland.

  3. Signup / registration to the Workshop

    1. Signup to the workshop (purchasing workshop tickets) will be carried out using the EventFrog online platform - current links to the workshop ticket reservation sites will be shared via the workshop website (gospelzug.com). Workshop ticket online sales closes at 12:00 CET on Nov 10, 2023.

    2. Purchasing a workshop ticket serves as a reservation of a seat on the workshop.

    3. The reservation is confirmed by completing registration on Sat, Nov 11, 2023 between 9:15 - 10:00 at the Burgbachsaal in Zug, thus receiving entitlement to participate in the workshop. The workshop ticket needs to be presented to the Workshop Organizers in digital or printed form on demand at registration.

    4. In case a discounted ticket has been purchased, proof of eligibility (AHV document / student card / identity card confirming age etc) should be made available to the Workshop Organizers at registration on demand.

    5. Failure to register by 10:00 on Nov 11, 2023 results in the seat reservation being cancelled and given away to people on the waiting list.

    6. Once the workshop ticket fee has been paid, it is not possible for the participant to claim a refund. The participant missing rehearsals does not entitle them to reimbursement of the entry fee. Should the participant be prevented from participation by a force majeure ahead of the workshop, they can send an email to zug.gospel@gmail.com - the Workshop Organizers will evaluate each case individually and contact the participant with the outcome. The Workshop Organizers are not obliged to provide a refund in such case. 

  4. Distribution of unclaimed Workshop seats

    1. In case the workshop tickets get sold out, a waiting list will be created by the Workshop Organizers. To sign up to the waiting list, the interested person is to send an email to zug.gospel@gmail.com. The Workshop Organizers will send the interested person an email with their ranked place on the waiting list. The ranking will be based on the timing of submission of signup to the waiting list. Signup to the waiting list closes at 12:00 CET on Nov 10, 2023.

    2. Once registration completes at 10:00 on Nov 11, 2023, unclaimed workshop seats will be distributed to people from the waiting list, in order of the ranking, only to people physically present at the Burgbachsaal Foyer between 10:00 - 10:15. In such case, payment of the workshop fee will be conducted in cash only.

    3. Should any workshop seats remain unclaimed after the waiting list registration, they will be distributed to people physically present at the Burgbachsaal Foyer, following the order of the physical queue. In such case, payment of the workshop fee will be conducted in cash only.

  5. Workshop scope

    1. Materials required for workshop participants (printed versions of song lyrics) are covered in the workshop ticket price and will be provided by the organizer

    2. There will be no sheet music nor audio recordings provided to the workshop participants by the organizer - the workshop concept assumes learning songs from hearing

    3. The exact number of songs taught at the workshop will be determined by the choir director based on the speed of learning of the workshop participants.

    4. The workshop rehearsals will follow the schedule outlined at the workshop website (gospelzug.com). The organizer reserves the right to make minor adjustments to the schedule in case of technical, logistics, or health related issues. Such changes do not entitle the participants to have the workshop ticket refunded.

    5. The participants are expected to take their own precautions to protect their voices and hearing from damage. The organizer will not be held liable for such damage.

    6. The participants are obliged to follow guidance of the workshop organizers throughout the event. Failure to comply can result in the workshop / concert participant being asked to leave the event premises without a claim to ticket refund.

  6. Final concert ticket purchase

    1. The final concert of Zug Gospel Workshop 2023 will take place on Nov 12, 2023 at 19:00 at the Burgbachsaal, Dorfstrasse 12, 6300 Zug. Doors will open at 18:30.

    2. Purchasing concert tickets will be carried out using the EventFrog online platform - current links to the concert ticket reservation sites will be shared via the workshop website (gospelzug.com). Concert ticket online sales ends at 19:00 CET on Nov 12, 2023.

    3. Purchasing a concert ticket serves as a reservation of a seat on the concert. The ticket needs to be presented to the Workshop Organizers in digital or printed form on demand at concert entry.

    4. The reservation is confirmed by entering the concert room between 18:30 and 19:00, thus receiving entitlement to participate in the concert.

    5. In case a discounted ticket has been purchased, proof of eligibility (AHV document / student card / identity card confirming age etc) should be made available to the Workshop Organizers at concert room entry on demand.

    6. Failure to enter the concert room by 19:00 on Nov 12, 2023 results in the concert seat reservation being cancelled and given away to people on the ticket queue.

    7. Once the concert ticket has been purchased, it is not possible for the participant to claim a refund. The participant missing the concert does not entitle them to reimbursement of the ticket. Should the participant be prevented from participation by a force majeure ahead of the concert, they can send an email to zug.gospel@gmail.com - the Workshop Organizers will evaluate each case individually and contact the participant with the outcome. The Workshop Organizers are not obliged to provide a refund in such case. 

  7. Distribution of unclaimed concert seats

    1. In case the concert tickets get sold out, a queue will be created at the Burgbachsaal Foyer as of 18:30 on Nov 12, 2023.

    2. At 19:00 on Nov 12, 2023, any unclaimed concert seats will be distributed to people physically present at the Burgbachsaal Foyer, following the order of the queue. In such case, payment for the concert ticket will be conducted in cash only.

  8. Event cancellation / reschedule

    1. The organizer reserves the right to cancel / reschedule the event in case of:

      • a force majeure

      • provable impaired health of the Workshop Conductor or the Workshop Pianist

      • travel disruption of the Workshop Conductor or the Workshop Pianist

      • official measures or regulations

      • third party interferences to public safety and order

      • other unforeseeable disruptive circumstances

    2. Information about the event cancellation / reschedule will be shared via email, using the email address provided by participants during signup, latest by 18:00 CET on Nov 10, 2023

    3. In such case, workshop and concert tickets will be refunded via the EventFrog platform. The Workshop Organizers will not reimburse any additional participant / concert attendee costs related to the cancellation of the event.

  9. Others

    1. Photos, videos and voice recordings will be taken during registration, workshop and concert, to be used in future fundraising and promotion of the event. By taking part in the workshop and concert, you implicitly agree to your image and audio recordings being used for such purposes.

    2. Workshop participants / concert attendees can be held legally liable for any damage incurred to the rooms / equipment as a result of deliberate acts of vandalism or negligence.

    3. The jurisdiction to settle any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of this agreement is with the courts of Stadt Zug.

    4. The signing parties commit to seek conflict resolution through mediation before submitting the matter to court.

Process your request to sign up for the workshop and reserve your seat

Process your request to reserve tickets for the workshop concert

Email you with information about the workshop logistics / any changes you need to be aware of

Email you with information about the next events we organize

Our organization will not share your data with any other parties apart from the technical infrastructure of the website signup & ticket reservation process (Wix / EventFrog / OneDrive / Gmail).

 

How do we store your data?

 

Our organization securely stores your data at wix.com / gmail / EventFrog platform / Microsoft OneDrive and the PCs of Gospel Verein Zug Board members.

Our organization will keep signup & ticket reservation data for two years from data submission. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data.

Marketing

Our organization would like to send you information about future events we organize. By signing up to the workshop or reserving a ticket to the concert, you consent to receive this marketing communication, however you may always opt out at a later date.

You have the right at any time to stop our organization from contacting you for marketing purposes by emailing us at zug.gospel@gmail.com.
